Vinsetta Garage comes with a bit of a fun fact: it is the largest standing garage east of the Mississippi river. While it no longer services cars, it is one of the area’s go-to places for great food and fun atmosphere. The menu is built off of what Detroit area mechanics would have eaten back in the day with a modern twist. Redcoat Tavern is famously known in the area for their incredible burgers. Technically, they only have two different burgers on their menu: The Classic with tomato, shredded lettuce, Special Sauce, and a toasted sesame bun, or The Brasserie Burger with bacon, caramelized onions, Swiss cheese, tomato, watercress, Dijon mustard-mayonnaise, and a toasted brioche bun. However, it’s the way you can customize your burger that makes it truly unique. They have more than 30 different toppings you can add to your burger including eight different cheeses, five different types of buns, and other unique toppings like burnt onions, guacamole, and a Detroit favorite, zip sauce.
